Specimens are arranged by predominant color in 11 Rooms. The various hues included with each color are summarized with the selection button upon entering each Room and are discussed in more detail at the About Spectrum Minerals selection.

A search engine is provided if you wish to search for specimens by species, chemical class, locality or color. There is also a collection of superlative specimens which includes a variety of mineral species selected on the basis of aesthetics. Consequently, many different color combinations are in this Room.

We will attempt to keep 10-15 specimens available in each Room, rotating sold specimens out as soon as possible. Periodically, the entire contents of each room will be updated with new material.

As you browse the various Rooms, you may select items of interest to review later before placing an order. This is the shopping cart program. Selection of an item does not imply intent to purchase, only to review. A specimen is purchased by submitting an order through our checkout or by contacting us via e-mail. Items in your shopping cart may be purchased by other users at anytime, so please complete your purchases in a timely fashion.

Because of irregularities in specimen shape, sizes are only guaranteed to within 0.5 cm.
